Seth Aaron Henderson will review the Challenge’s entries and select its six scholarship recipients.
All applicants to the Project Runway Scholarship Challenge will be required to submit sketches and photos of their design work, along with an essay that answers the question, “If a Lifetime Original Movie was made about your life, what would your character be wearing; and why?” Entries must be postmarked no later than October 1, 2011 and received no later than October 15, 2011. A total of six winners will be announced in December, when the first place winner will be awarded with $10,000 and the five runners up will receive $5,000 each.
The Project Runway Scholarship Challenge is open to students 18 and over and in good academic standing studying fashion at an accredited post-secondary school in the United States. Students must be enrolled as full-time students pursuing a degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0 in a 4.0 scaling system, with minimum 15 credits completed in their studies.
